Our History

John Simpson and Joseph Imbrogno founded JDI Cleaning Systems in 1992
Their goal was to create a different kind of office cleaner. One that provided exceptional customer service from the client’s side, while providing a growth system that allows entrepreneurs in the commercial cleaning industry to become business owners.

Today, there are over 100 JDI Cleaning Franchise locations in Canada.

Joseph Imbrogno

President / Recruitment

Joseph’s primary concern at JDI is the recruitment of Regional Managers, and then immediately assisting them in recruiting local franchisees to carry out the actual work. Joe assists Regional Managers with their expansion plans ensuring that they have enough working partners to meet the area demand. As well as assisting in the proper quotation of commercial cleaning contracts, Joe also works with the Regional Managers to help develop their group’s business skills. He oversees the company’s Clean Green initiative to see that franchisees conform to all elements of the program.

John’s primary responsibility within JDI centres around the development of new strategies to ensure
JD l’s continued leadership role in the janitorial franchising industry. John’s 30 years experience in the janitorial industry is invaluable when it comes to advising and providing the necessary tools and business acumen for both Regional and Local Franchise owners to become highly successful and profitable. Other responsibilities include financial management, systems’ development and training of both new and existing Regional and Local Franchisees.
