How often should floors be stripped and waxed?

At JDI, we recommend that commercial floors be stripped and waxed every 6 to 12 months to keep your floors looking their best. However, the time depends on the type of traffic your floors get, low traffic areas can go longer between cleanings, while high-traffic areas may need to be done more often.

Why should you strip and wax your facility’s floors?

Stripping and Waxing your floors not only will remove dirt and grime collected on the floor but also will add a protective layer to your floor, reducing the chances of having the floor damaged over years of use.

How long will a newly waxed floor in Ajax, Ontario last?

Our professional cleaners recommend regular maintenance of your floors to keep them in good shape. But without regular maintenance and depending on how much traffic the floor gets, solid wax flooring coats can last anywhere from 2 to 5 years, whereas liquid wax coats will only last 1 to 2 years.
