Professional Background

Mercedes holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and a Post-Secondary Diploma in Event Management from Humber College. With over a decade of experience in franchise marketing across both product and service-focused franchises, she has developed a keen ability to create impactful marketing plans and content that elevate brands. Her passion, energy, and creativity are evident in her work, and her skill in building meaningful relationships with franchisees and business owners makes her a well-rounded marketing professional. At JDI, Mercedes continues to bring her enthusiasm and expertise to the forefront, sharing the JDI brand story from our National Support Centre to our regional and local franchisees, down to our customers.

Mercedes enjoys open water and ice fishing across Ontario. She is an avid traveller and enjoys relaxing up north with her family.
