Meet Vanja & Nebojsa
After spending 20 years as a dental assistant with a consistent 9-7 schedule, Vanja realized she needed to make a change. With all her kids under the age of 6, she knew she needed a career that offered more flexibility to balance family life while still pursuing a rewarding profession. She had known about JDI Cleaning Services since moving to Canada in 2000—her mom had a Local Franchise, and she would often help her out. When the opportunity to become a Local Franchisee with JDI arose, it felt like the perfect fit. The flexibility of the business model allowed Vanja to focus on her family while pursuing her entrepreneurial goals.

When it comes to customer service, it’s at the core of everything Vanja does. With experience in the restaurant industry, she developed a deep understanding of how to engage with customers, build lasting relationships, and ensure satisfaction. This experience has strengthened her customer service approach as a franchisee. Known for being highly detail-oriented, this trait helps ensure her customer relationships are strong and effective. By focusing on clear communication, setting expectations, and making sure everyone is on the same page, Vanja has built a loyal customer base with long-lasting partnerships.
Outside of JDI
When she’s not working, Vanja enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids. As a very social person, she loves organizing playdates and cherishes family time outdoors. Staying active and connected with family and friends is something she values, and she enjoys the balance a local franchise provides.
An interesting fact about Vanja, she is a lifelong learner. She strives to learn something new every day, whether it’s through reading, discovering new techniques, or picking up new skills. This mindset is something she applies to both her personal life and her work with JDI, always seeking to grow and improve in every aspect.
